There is a wonderful balance between fruit and herbal flavors in this Cabernet. Black cherry and raspberry marry delicously with fennel and mint. Providing a backdrop of fullness on the palate are firm tannins. Team this Cabernet with braised lamb shank on a bed of couscous, roast prime rib, or duck confit.
Black raspberry, plum, herb, tart, mesquite and cherry aromas are followed by lightly smoky flavors that seem out of place. It doesn't all come together.
